KRAUTKOSH23 - UPDATE #24 A Riveting Tale of Speed

Chris here from Military Aviation History with the twenty-forth update from the trip to Oshkosh 2023 you crowdfunded.

Did someone say they have the need for speed? Well, the B-25 has a great story for that. After wind tunnel testing, North America realised that flushing a select number of rivets on the Mitchell bomber is a good way to squeeze out more miles/hour. And when you have a few angry fighters or AA-gunners firing at you, every little boost counts! But at the same time, they optimised this extra production step in typical US of A fashion.
