Chris here from Military Aviation History with the 32nd update from the trip to Oshkosh 2023 you crowdfunded.

Can you name a more legendary plane of the Pacific war than the A6M Zero? Sure enough, there are some fantastic kites out there, from the Dauntless over the Betty bomber, to the Hellcat and Corsair - but if it comes down to it, no other plane lives in (in)famy quite like Mitsubishi's A6M Type 0 fighter. From its stellar range, over to fantastic early war performance and astonishing manoeuvrability, this plane has many claim to fames. Considering this, it is surprising how few survived to this day - which makes this Inside The Cockpit extra special. Join me as I jump inside an A6M3 and explore the outs-and-ins of the most famous of Japanese aircraft.
